Intermediate Handgun
This course is a continuation of the Basic Handgun Safety Course. Participants will improve their accuracy and confidence and will learn to shoot under stress. Emphasis is placed on improving the shooter’s ability to make rapid multiple shots on targets at varying distances. This course will also introduce proper use of a holster including drawing and holstering.
Advanced Handgun
The Advanced Handgun course begins with a review of the tactics and techniques learned in the Basic and Intermediate handgun courses. This course is more tactical than the previous courses where students will learn to shoot from varying position such as kneeling or prone (lying down). Participants will learn how to think and move while shooting and will learn the proper use of cover.
